Why should I pay for a service when I can get information for free on the internet or from the CDC?
We hear this question often. TravelCare's data is superior to other paid services and more extensive than free services like the CDC. While all companies get data from the CDC, W.H.O. and other sources, our data is curated from a network of international medical professionals which is then synthesized for our reports. In addition to offering the most accurate, up-to-date content, and instant health and security alerts - TravelCare customizes our reports for our subscribers and their respective customers. We provide multi-country, itinerary friendly, reports that are truly appreciated by the clinician and traveler alike as well as extremely detailed single country reports superior to any in the market. Finally, we save you hours of time reducing hours of our work into a matter of seconds for you! There are a multitude of features that warrant the use of a paid service.
What is Travel Health and why should I be offering the service?
Travel Health is a simple term for travel medicine or tropical medicine or travel health services. Travel Health includes medical advice of vaccines, Rx and OTC medications based on specific destinations. Travel Health is a growing market. 80 million people travel to foreign destinations each year while crisscrossing the globe we are exposed to a vast array of people and subsequent illnesses. Travel is great but some precaution makes good sense. Corporate and Medical professionals need to be more vigilant and advise their employee/patients and customers to update routine vaccines and get professional advise.
How Profitable is Travel Health for Pharmacies, Clinics and Primary Care Practices?
The average traveler will spend $400 on pre-trip medical services and supplies. This total includes routine & travel vaccines, prescriptions, OTC medications and purchases like sunscreen, bug repellent and stomach medications. This number can easily increase based on the destination. The more undeveloped the country the higher the medical costs.

Should I print or email the travel reports?
We recommend that you print and email the reports. Customers may not take your advise right away but having a printed and email version will make sure they look at the information. Secondly, a printed version lets the next medical professional (the family physician for example) know you are in the travel medicine business and to send patients to you for advice and services. These reports will bring in friends, family and coworkers and grow your referral network.
